Wet Leg announce new album 'moisturizer'

Wet Leg have officially announced their hotly-anticipated second album 'moisturizer', set for release on the 11th July. The Isle of Wight-born band—founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers and now rounded out by Ellis Durand (bass), Henry Holmes (drums), and Joshua Mobaraki (guitar, synth)—promise a record that’s freaky, fabulous, and more playful than ever.

Crafted after years of relentless touring that earned them three Grammys, two BRITs, and a #1 debut, 'moisturizer' reflects the tight-knit, no-holds-barred live energy Wet Leg has honed on stages around the world. It’s punchier and more polished, with a healthy dose of the band’s signature oddball charm. Produced once again by Dan Carey, the record marks a more collaborative effort, with all five members contributing to songwriting duties after living and writing together in Southwold.

The band preview the new album with its raucous lead single 'catch these fists'—a snarling, dance-punk burst of distorted synths, ricocheting bass, and Teasdale’s trademark dry wit. The accompanying video, self-directed by the band and shot on their home turf, references everything from Ti West’s horror aesthetic to classic Wet Leg irreverence.
