The xx share new short film 'We See You - Berlin'

After releasing their critically-praised third album 'I See You' at the start of the year, The xx have been on tour pretty much ever since. And to honour the fans that have supported them so far this year, the group has now unveiled the first in a series of new short films.

The new video 'We See You - Berlin' is the first of a new set of films designed to pay tribute to the different parts of the world the band has visited so far in 2017. 'Berlin' was directed by Sylvie Weber, and includes live and backstage footage from their recent headline set at the city's Lollapalooza Festival in September.

Speaking on the film, director Weber said, “In the case of ‘We See You’, coming across truly engaged and earnest individuals was not difficult, the vulnerability that The xx expose in their music is the basis for their incredibly close connection to the fans themselves. I think we’ve managed to represent in these four stories the feeling of the many millions who are so profoundly affected by the harmonies of Romy, Oliver and Jamie”.
