Bastille return with new single 'Distorted Light Beam'

Following on from the release of their much-loved 2019 LP 'Doom Days', Bastille have now returned to share a brand new cut.

The new single 'Distorted Light Beam' was premiered on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show last night (23rd June), and is set to feature on the band's next studio album, which is due to be announced soon.

Speaking about the new offering, frontman Dan Smith said, “For us ‘Distorted Light Beam’ soundtracks dancing through some twisted, euphoric futuristic club space. It’s a song about limitless possibilities - which isn’t something any of us actually have in real life right now, so it’s been fun to explore that idea while experimenting with new sounds in our music.”
