Eight-time GRAMMY winner Beck has quietly reemerged with 'Ride Lonesome', a surprise release that feels both like a continuation and a recalibration.
Produced by Beck and longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich, the track leans into the spectral, acoustic-led sound that defined 'Morning Phase' and 'Sea Change'. From its hushed opening to its swelling, emotionally loaded finale, there’s a sense of familiarity, but also a subtle shift, suggesting new ground ahead.
The single arrives alongside the announcement of the Ride Lonesome Tour, a 25-date North American run promoted by Live Nation. Kicking off in Vancouver this September, the tour will see Beck take in a string of iconic venues, including multiple-night residencies in cities like San Francisco, Toronto and New York, before wrapping in Nashville on Halloween.
