Ben Howard delivers new singles 'Far Out' and 'Follies Fixture'

With his highly-anticipated new album set to land near the end of next month, Ben Howard has now returned to deliver a pair of brand new singles.

The new tracks 'Far Out' and 'Follies Fixture' follow on from the previously shared 'Crowhurst’s Meme' and 'What A Day' in previewing his new LP 'Collections From The Whiteout', which is out on the 26th March via Island Records.

Speaking about 'Far Out', he said, “The song is essentially a critique of how easily people are drawn to violence and animosity without reason, just to pass the time. And ultimately how there is perhaps a simpler, more fulfilling path.

“I wanted it to have a very British rhyming slang feel and a Roald Dahl sense of macabre humour. I fear my tinkering with it has made it a little more plain and serious”.

While adding about 'Follies Fixture', “Follies Fixture is a love song. It deals with an apathetic period of my life searching for routine in Paris.”

Ben Howard has also announced a pair of Royal Festival Hall shows for the 18th and 19th September. Tickets will go on sale from the 5th March, and you can find out more info at benhowardmusic.co.uk.
