Chet Faker returns with new single 'Far Side Of The Moon'

After nearly two years away, Chet Faker makes a powerful return with 'Far Side of the Moon', a haunting, heartfelt reflection on the unraveling of love. The new single is the first taste of fresh material since 2023’s 'Something Like This', and it arrives alongside the announcement of a second London headline show at Outernet on the 24th October, following a rapid sell-out of the first.

Across just over three captivating minutes, Nick Murphy delivers a deeply emotive meditation on emotional burnout in relationships. “It’s about stretching yourself too thin for someone you love to the point where it’s not healthy for the relationship at all,” he explains. With his signature blend of mellow synths, soulful vocals, and poetic lyricism, Far Side of the Moon feels both timeless and deeply personal.
