Haim say their next album is “coming very soon”

It looks like we won't be waiting very long before we get to hear another record from Haim as the band have announced that they will be recording the second full-length within the next month.

With the band currently set to play Glastonbury later today, BBC 6Music's Mary Anne Hobbes spent some time chatting with guitarist Alana when she dropped the news.

“This is the first time we’ve ever written on the road,” she said. “We’re going home in a month to start recording. I promise record two won’t come in six years - it’ll come very soon”.

Their first album 'Days Are Gone' went straight to the top of the UK album charts when it was released last year, and made it to #3 in Mystic Sons Albums Of 2013 list.
