James Blake returns with new single 'Death Of Love'

James Blake returns with a haunting new release ‘Death Of Love’, the latest preview of his forthcoming album 'Trying Times', out 13th March via Good Boy Records.

Blake also shares an arresting live video for the track, directed by Harrison & Adair, featuring the London Welsh Men’s Choir performing against the backdrop of a stark, fluorescent-lit office. The visual underscores the track’s emotional depth, capturing his signature balance of intimacy and unease.

‘Death Of Love’ continues the thematic throughline of 'Trying Times', which explores the tension between connection and collapse in an age of uncertainty. Set against sweeping production and Blake’s unmistakable falsetto, the track meditates on love’s fragility and how easily it bends under the weight of both global anxiety and private fear.
