Metronomy share new single 'Walking In The Dark'

With their eagerly-awaited new studio album set to arrive in the coming months, Metronomy have now returned to share the next cut lifted from their forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Walking In The Dark' follows on from the previously unveiled tracks 'Lately' and 'Salted Caramel Ice Cream' in previewing their sixth studio album 'Metronomy Forever', which will drop on the 13th September via Because Music.

Speaking about the video for their latest offering, frontman Joe Mount said, "The 'Walking In The Dark' video is the age old tale of the guru and the fisherman set against a green screen backdrop. Clara is someone I became aware of through a collaboration between ourselves and Central St Martins college in London a few years ago. Her style is completely unique and something I was desperate to make part of the video. The song is one of my favourites from the new record and gives a wonderful taste of how eclectic the album is."
