After having to postpone the release of their forthcoming album last September due to lead singer Blaine Harrison’s ill health, Mystery Jets have now confirmed the new release date of their next LP.
The new full-length 'A Billion Heartbeats' will now be released on the 3rd April via Caroline International, is being previewed by the singles 'Wrong Side Of The Tracks', 'History Has Its Eyes On You', 'Screwdriver' and 'Hospital Radio', and now comes accompanied by the new offering 'Pretty Drone'.
The song’s energy belies its dystopian lyrics, inspired by the Adam Curtis film HyperNormalisation, and the modern phenomenon of surveillance capitalism: "Ostracised, de-nationalised, re-categorised… polarised, de-sensitised…”
