The National announce new album 'I Am Easy To Find'

After releasing their critically-praised album 'Sleep Well Beast' back in 2017, The National have now returned to announce their plans for a new studio LP, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'I Am Easy To Find' will feature guest contributions from Sharon Van Etten, Lisa Hannigan, Gail Ann Dorsey and Brooklyn Youth Chorus, is being previewed by the new single 'You Had Your Soul With You' as well as a short film starring Oscar winning actress Alicia Vikander, and is set to be released on the 17th May via 4AD.

Speaking about the high number of female guests on the record, frontman Matt Berninger. added, “Yes, there are a lot of women singing on this, but it wasn’t because, ‘Oh, let’s have more women’s voices'. It was more, ‘Let’s have more of a fabric of people’s identities.’ It would have been better to have had other male singers, but my ego wouldn’t let that happen.”
