With their eagerly-awaited new album set to land early next year, Sea Girls have now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from their forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Hometown' was premiered by Clara Amfo on BBC Radio 1 as her Future Sound last night (18th November), and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Sick' and 'Again Again' in previewing their sophomore LP 'Homesick', which is out on the 14th January via Polydor Records.
Speaking about the new offering, frontman Henry Camamile said, “‘Hometown’ is one of the most important songs I've written. It defines my philosophy. While writing songs for the new album, I had this intense love for life. Hometown is about people I knew growing up that aren't around anymore. I'm saying ‘I see you’ - it’s a nod to them. I'm grateful for life and I am not going to jeopardise it in any way.”
