It has been a full ten years since we last heard any new material from Will Smith, but it seems like that wait may be nearly over as the rapper-turned-actor has admitted he has been working on new music.
In a number interviews for his latest film 'Focus', Smith announced that he first started working with Kanye West in 2013 and was even taking writing advice from his son Jaden.
“I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet but I’m exploring", he explained. "I’m in a creative ceiling. My son tells me I have to write out the things I don’t like. I can’t write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I’ve never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot.”
His last album 'Lost & Found' was released back in 2005 and since then Smith took to acting full-time. But it looks like we won't be waiting long for The Fresh Prince to make his return.
