HANNAHBELLA unveils her daring debut EP 'Parasite',

Cork-based experimental electronic-pop artist HANNAHBELLA has released her highly anticipated debut EP Parasite, a fearless dive into the darker corners of human experience wrapped in a vibrant fusion of glitchy hyper-pop, techno elements, and alternative rock sensibilities.

Recorded and mixed alongside acclaimed producer Jessica Richardson (WhenTheBeatIsBad), the EP stands as a testament to HANNAHBELLA's genre-defying approach to music creation—one that has already earned her spots on prestigious Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Friday, Misfits 2.0, and Fresh Finds UK & IE.

The solo artist has built her reputation on crafting sonic landscapes that are simultaneously playful and intense, striking and emotive. 'Parasite' doesn't shy away from uncomfortable truths, instead embracing the messy reality of human emotion with unflinching honesty.

Speaking about the EP, HANNAHBELLA reveals: "'Parasite' is an exploration of the darker, uncomfortable sides of the human experience—those unwanted feelings and thoughts we often try to suppress. The EP dives into the depths of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief, loneliness and love, offering a raw and honest space for these emotions to breathe and be confronted."

What makes the collection so compelling is the thread of resilience that runs throughout. Despite tackling heavy themes, there's an underlying current of hope—a belief that even in our darkest moments, there's a path forward. The production mirrors this duality, creating something "beautifully and purposefully chaotic" that reflects the internal struggle of finding peace within turmoil.

'Parasite' represents not just a personal milestone for HANNAHBELLA, but a collective journey created alongside talented collaborators. It's a bold statement from an artist unafraid to embrace the uncomfortable, creating a space where listeners might recognize their own struggles and, as she puts it, "feel a little less insane."
