My Morning Jacket unveil new single 'Half A Lifetime'

My Morning Jacket continues to build anticipation for their upcoming album is with the release of 'Half A Lifetime', a song that has taken nearly two decades to fully realise. Originally a slow-burning demo from the 2005 Z sessions, the band has reimagined it into a larger-than-life anthem, bursting with frantic, soaring guitar riffs and their signature expansive sound.

The track arrives alongside a Danny Clinch-directed official music video, available to stream now.

“It’s about doing whatever it takes to get where you need to go, instead of bailing when things get hard,” says frontman Jim James. “Which is funny considering that it literally took a half a lifetime to finish.”
