Swimming Tapes announce debut album 'Morningside'

Having packed last year with a bundle of impressive singles, Swimming Tapes have now returned to unveil the details behind their eagerly-awaited debut album.

The new full-length 'Morningside' was produced by regular collaborator Paddy Baird at a Haggerston-based studio, is being previewed by the new track 'Pyrenees', and is due to be released on the 24th May via Hand In Hive Records.

Speaking about their latest cut, the band said, "'Pyrenees' is a sweet little bop of a pop song. It might only clock in at two-and-a-half minutes but we still managed to get two different guitar solos in there. The song’s about what follows an argument with a loved one, that middle of the night feeling when you realise actually you’re the one in the wrong."
