ratbag delivers new single 'look what you're doing to me'

Breakthrough alternative artist ratbag unveils her latest single ‘look what you’re doing to me,’ accompanied by a mesmerising and gothic music video. The track is lifted from her forthcoming new project and follows her widely praised standalone singles ‘pinky boy’ and ‘pinky girl’, released late last year.

One of ratbag’s most emotionally raw and confessional tracks to date, ‘look what you’re doing to me’ captures the intoxicating chaos of a whirlwind romance. Swirling orchestral arrangements intertwine with clattering drums as she explores the depths of vulnerability, singing: “If you ask nice, I’d give you my eyes / we kiss twice a piece of me dies / do you see what you’re doing to me?”

The accompanying video amplifies the song’s dramatic themes, portraying ratbag ensnared by a vampiric love interest. The dark and cinematic visuals depict the all-consuming power of love, where desire and pain are inseparable forces.

Speaking about the track, ratbag shares: “‘look what you’re doing to me’ is all about that intense feeling of falling apart as you fall into love—when you completely lose control of your heart. And that’s the best kind of love, I think.”
