Canadian hip-hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids are bringing their live show to London this September, with a headline date at Strongroom on September 22nd. The show follows an appearance at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival on September 18th as the duo return to Europe.
Cousins Yung Trybez and Young D have spent the past decade carving out a sound that sits somewhere between hard-hitting hip-hop, punk energy and sharp social commentary. Their music tackles Indigenous identity, history and contemporary life with plenty of humour and personality, making for a live show that is as energetic as it is politically charged.
The dates follow the release of 'RED FUTURE', their 2024 album which earned the duo the 2025 Juno Award for Rap Album of the Year. The win made SNRK the first Indigenous artists to take home the award, adding to a growing list of accolades that includes seven Juno nominations, four Polaris Prize shortlists and 16 Western Canadian Music Awards.
With tours alongside Cypress Hill, PUP, Prof, Tom Morello and Chance the Rapper already under their belt, SNRK have built a reputation that extends well beyond Canada. Their upcoming Strongroom show offers UK audiences a chance to catch the duo in a more intimate setting as they continue to take their music to new audiences.
